Cindr is intentionally not another full mail client. It gives you a short, focused stack and makes every mailbox-changing action clear.
Right keeps
The message stays where it is. Keep is the default and makes no mailbox change.
Left trashes
The message moves to your provider’s Trash. It is never permanently deleted by the cleanup flow, and Undo is available.
Up reviews unsubscribe
Cindr shows the detected method first. Nothing is submitted without a clear, safe path and your confirmation.
Private by design
Your inbox never visits our servers.
Cindr connects your iPhone directly to Gmail. No Cindr inbox database, no ads built from your messages, and no remote AI reading your email.
Google handles sign-in
You authorize Cindr on Google’s own secure sign-in screen. Cindr never sees your password.
Tracking pixels stay dark
Messages are shown as safe text. Remote images and scripts do not load in Cindr.
Your data stays in your hands
Tokens live in iPhone Keychain. You can disconnect Gmail or delete local Cindr data anytime.

Does Cindr permanently delete email?
No. The cleanup flow moves a selected message to your email provider’s Trash. Your provider controls Trash retention, and Cindr offers Undo for supported actions.
Can Cindr read my whole inbox?
You authorize the mailbox permissions needed to list messages and carry out your explicit decisions. Cindr fetches full content only when you open a message and does not persist message bodies or attachments.
Does my email pass through a Cindr server?
No. The iPhone app communicates directly with Google or Microsoft. Cindr has no backend that receives or stores your mailbox content.
Does Cindr use AI on my email?
No remote AI is used. Local recommendations are based on aggregate counts and one-way sender/domain pattern keys, not uploaded message content.
Which providers are supported?
Gmail is the initial provider. Outlook and Microsoft 365 integration is implemented and being prepared for public use. iCloud Mail is not currently supported.
How do I remove my data?
Open Cindr Settings and choose Delete all Cindr data. See the complete deletion instructions for provider revocation and subscription details.
